My Vows To You Baby....On That Special Day & EveryDay

Sonia, My Love, My Life, I have tried so many times to tell you what you really mean to me, but today of all days, I want to try and tell you again, in front of all our closest friends and family.

Before our paths eventually met, it appears that I didn't know about true love and soul mates, and that I was just waiting, and hoping, for the special person that YOU are, to come into my life.

To me, and I'm sure everyone around you, you are beautiful in so many ways, and for me you are now my greatest love and my one and only true love.

You must at least know by now, that your heart is firmly in my soul and that my love for you is so strong that it can not be captured in any song, poem or words, even though I have tried and tried and tried. I will keep trying, as up to now I have searched desperately to find the words to express to you how much I love you and Adore you, yet still to this day, without success!

So here we stand before witnesses, to make our vows today,
Love, honor and cherish until death, is what they usually say.

But today I choose the following words that come from my heart to yours.

Today, I choose to simply thank-you, for YOU, and to give myself to you, to be your ever-loving friend, companion, husband, lover and soul mate.
I give you my mind, my body, my heart, my soul and my all, promising to love you and worship you for longer than life itself.

And,

If sorrows enter our lives as they sometimes do,
I promise that together we will see them through.
My thoughts and concerns will remain open, and sincere,
Through good times and bad, every day of every year.

For me, until Death is a line that is best left unsaid,
For death has no place with the beautiful woman I wed.
This ring I give you today is a symbol of my devotion,
and our future together with undying love as our potion.

I take you as my Bride and let our witnesses share;
with this ring I wed you, your life always in my care.
I will always promise to trust and honor and respect you,
Providing comfort and encouragement all our lives through.

I want to share all of our tears and laughter,
as your friend and lover and life-long partner.
Everything that I am and everything that I can be,

Both now and forevermore is yours, as you "complete me".

These are my promises not only today, but for each and every day that follows...
