While Im reminded that my birthday is coming up next week, my mind drifts to my girls. Why, you may ask? Well, I never liked the whole birthday celebration. I am thankful I been giving another year to live but what I loved about my birthday the most is the fact I could get all the people I loved under one ruff for one day. For one day I can sit back, and enjoy the presence of each special individual that I love adore and always enjoy having in my life.On that note my girls have always been there. This bday Im looking foward 2 seing them all come together and have them chats and laugh till the night descends into the morning sunrise. Man these girls have been there when I was a young girl searching for an understanding of who I was, they were there telling me about which pads to use for that monthly time lol, they have been there when I had to deal with this college process as an undocumented student, they were there advising me about the lame dudes I was talking to, reminding me always that I am a strong womyn and that sky is the limit... Thank you ladies for everything, I always say music has kept me sane, well ya have kept me alive.
