Young Voices For Healthcare Reform "BROOKLYN" Spoken Word Townhall 9/17 7pm Habana Outpost


Next Thursday a Groundbreaking Open Mic event at Habana Outpost (Lowpost) 757 Fulton Street Brooklyn from 7 pm - 10 pm!

* Special Guest DJ will be spinning and confirmed poets include:
* Urban Word NYC Poets Youth - members of HBO's series "Brave New Voices"
* Kahlil Almustafa a Former national Slam Poet Champion and a host of our favorite eduliberational lyricists who use the mike to empower, uplift and mobilize our people to protect what we have and to fight for what we need!
*Come to learn more about the healthcare Reform Debate through video, spoken word, and more!
*Come Ready to express your views!
*And a Dance Off for Healthcare Reform*
*There will be a limited open mike in the Beginning so SIGN UP EARLY!!*

WE NEED HEALTH CARE REFORM NOW! NOW! NOW! - NOT LATER!
HEALTH CARE IS OUR ISSUE! IT IS OUR LIVES!

At our event we will have hospital scrubs for you to sign and send your message to Congress which will be delivered to Washington DC by September 15th.

Please bring pictures/stories/poems of yourself or people you know who are impacted by our current broken health care system.
This will a young peoples Townhall!!!
