-Dated random dudes..never again ...never again
-Went to DC during February ( Yp4...Gotta love my progressive fellows)
-Went to DC in the summer with Bumi ( and we didnt even plan it ...gotta love my Bumi)
-Went to DC in the fall for the Demos Conference...and had a great time meeting up with my YLC core member (Joe), Hunter/yp4 buddy (Tamara) and my fiancée (Will)
-Cut my hair ....never thought I would but i did it :)
-got a boom box tattoo
-made love under the stars ...lmao ..summmer memories
-Jayha was born :)
-Alex was born :)
-volunteered at the Women & Gender Studies library ....met many great individuals and some great bff's : Maria, Caitlin, Casey, Stacey, Dahana ...
-Performed in DC and performed at the Star Jump dance Collective : Fall Into Gender event
-auditioned for the Vagina Monologue and was chosen to be in it
-changed my majors to African Puertorican and Latino Studies and Women & Gender Studies
-Met so many great professors and fell in love with some of the courses Im taking this spring
-Had a paparazzi follow me : no lie but she was a cool lady...hope the project comes out great
-my little brother and I connecting during the summer through Nikki Giovanni's poems
-my sister and I room change
-getting paid at this new job
- lol at when I had to find money to pay my tuition
-going to different events in the BX, brooklyn and LES
-Being at Circa 95 ..kool folks
- joining the movement with Bless Roxwell...She's So Fresh II showcase by far the best event i partaken in ...
-NYSYLC : through its changes and all its great to be part of a movement ..cant forget June 23rd Dream Act Mock Graduation Day
-meeting my fiancee : from our first dates to our first days living together...
-my birthday : Yudelca, Maro and Zin...and later going to see Kayan perform at Public Assembly
-going to Black August with kayan lmao she fell asleep
-going to Mamas Hip Hop Kitchen with my girls and then eating some "cat" lmao
-family moments : birthdays, thanksgiving, dinners...
-all the books I've read...from Assata to Artist Way
-meeting Toni Blackman and having her coach me and giving me advice regarding my pieces and being an artist ( lmao at her little health book bad breath = you have so much anger inside you and I cant forget her CD collection )
-changing my wardrove around
-painting and going to art exhibits
-feeling comfortable about my feet
-....i guess every day of 2009 was a great memory : it might have been a very bad day at that time but I've grown from that and am where I am now because of it. 09 nice knowing you....2010 see u soon :)
