Sonia G: is an activist, community/youth organizer, a Hip Hop head and an undocumented poet raised in Harlem, NY via Ecuador. She serves as a board member of the New York State Youth Leadership Council; a youth led organization that works on improving access to higher education and creating equal opportunity for immigrant youth, regardless of immigration status, through leadership development, organizing and advocacy. Currently Sonia is attending Hunter College where she is going for a double major in Africana Puerto Rican Latinos Studies, and Women & Gender Studies. In her spare time she dabbles in photography, painting,blogging, jewelry designing,and mentoring youth. This blog equates to the material, people, projects, events, articles, artist, videos, paintings, and photographs she comes across. This blog is a door to her thoughts and alludes to who she is.
